Grant Godfrey-Board Chair

Grant has an E-Commerce Degree and has worked in the banking industry for 17 years. He currently works for BDC, “the bank of entrepreneurs”, and is passionate about business development and building positive relationships for success. Always offering insight into making partnerships work, Grant has a keen ability to analyze financial statements and offer pro-active solutions that create Win-Win situations

 

Herb Stanley-Board Member

Herb is a retired businessman having worked as a surveyor and an estimator with Ocean Steel for over 25 years.  He is a long-time member, and current Secretary, of the Kennebecasis Lions Club who built the original VTC in the basement of the Bill McGuire Centre back in 1973.  Originally from Newfoundland, Herb is a very compassionate man with a great sense of humor who is a true “team player”.

Steven Peever- Treasurer

Steven Peever is a commercial banking manager at TD.  Steve has a BBA undergraduate degree from St. Vincent’s University with a major in management and minor in marketing.  He has worked with TD in their commercial banking division for the past 5 years and continues to give back to the community with his continual volunteer work and board efforts.  He is the chair of the finance committee for Uptown Saint John and has been the director of new memberships for the Saint John Rotary since April of 2019.

 

Mike Costello-Board Member

Michael Costello is a lawyer at McInnes Cooper with a focus on corporate law, property law, pension law and wills, estates and trusts. Michael works with accountants to implement tax plans and corporate reorganizations in connection with the establishment of business structures, business growth and expansion, purchase and sale transactions, succession planning and other matters. He also has extensive experience rendering and reviewing administrative decisions and appeals.

He earned his LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2012 and his B.Eng. (Electrical) from Dalhousie University in 2009. He is called to the bar in New Brunswick in 2013.

Michael currently acts as a Commissionaire with the Saint John Board of Police Commissioners and a director and President of Canada Donates. He was formerly a director of the Saint John Learning Exchange, the Kenebecasis Valley Oasis Youth Centre and the Mill Rats Foundation while also volunteering time to Hazen White-St. Francis School, the Crescent Valley Resource Centre, the Saint John Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Organizing Committee and the ACPM Atlantic Regional Council.

Megan Glode- Secretary

Megan is a Strategic Program Manager at IBM where she has been in Sales Support for 15 years.  A forward thinker and strategic planning specialist, Megan likes to make things happen.   She is well versed in Social Media and loves working with numbers.  A passionate animal lover, she has two dogs and a cat and lives in Rothesay with her husband.
